For our Lenten studies this year we are using Jeff Lucas' Impossible Dream DVD and daily readings booklet. It largely covers (rather convincingly) the need for Christians to become engaged in social justice and poverty issues.
I cannot recommend the program enough and urge you to try and enrol as soon as possible.
For the lifegroup nearest to you please go to the LifeGroups page. If you cannot make it to a LifeGroup because of work committments the study is repeated every Sunday from 10am to 10:55am as part of our Adult Sunday School class
Next men's breakfast is 17th of April from 9am on the church premises. Ray Lewis from East Side Young Leaders Academy will be back again by popular demand!
Women's breakfast is Saturday the 12th of June at Crowne Plaza hotel. Glady's Famoriyo will be speaking. Great lady to listen to. Well worth your time and money.
Rehearsals for the Easter play has started. Please make sure your child is enrolled before it is too late. I understand there is a cut off date.

Passover Thursday service is always a time of quiet reflection on the words and actions of Jesus the Christ at the Last Supper. It is always a time of spiritual enrichment. Takes place in church from 7:30pm to 9pm or earlier. Bread and lamb stew served.
A time of deep reflection on the cross and its significance to our Christian walk. We will be singing timeless Good Friday hymns. We will also have periods of meditation to Taize music. Our Good Friday service is in the afternoon from 2pm to 3:30pm or earlier.
Big, big event. Traditional Hymns, Contemporary praise and worship, videos, special songs, children's drama - and much more (and did I mention the delicious menu at the end of the service?)It would be great to see YOU!
