A Study of John’s three Epistles to the Church

Comfortable Christianity often means a weak Christianity. In this study on John’s three letters, Christians who have grown comfortable and complacent in their faith are challenged to greater commitment. Fellowship with God is the essence of our faith, and as we walk through 1, 2 & 3 John we discover a picture of love, obedience, and truth. In a world that hates Jesus, we are called to love Him and His people with a fierce love.

TO CONSIDER AS WE GO THROUGH THIS STUDY

We can have a relationship with God and His family, and not enjoy it. We can live secure in the promise of eternal life, but still find the everyday worries of this world crushing our spirits. The apostle John wrote his short letters so that we could have the same thriving and life-giving relationship that he had with Jesus Himself while the Savior walked the earth.
