A welcome smile for everyone

Undefeated is a glimpse at the preparation of four paralympians as they get ready for the greatest game of their lives. We will be using the service to highlight the plight of the disabled especially in developing countries. We promise that after the service you will not look at disabled people the same way. See you Sunday! For more on UNDEFEATED go to bmsworldmission.org

BUGB Day of Prayer

We will be talking about the importance and power of prayer. We will also be praying for the work of the Baptist Union and especially for Home Mission. Those familiar with happenings in the country know that a lot a prayer is needed - gay marriage, economic uncertainties, terrorist threats. The list just goes on BUT our sovereign God is always in control. So we pray.

The Big Welcome

The Big Welcome, there's a space for you is a simple church facing campaign to encourage Christians to invite someone they know to something they love. So invite a friend to church on the 23rd of September. It's going to be a special service; fun, motivational and gives everybody something to ponder.

Harvest Sunday - THIRSTY

It is traditional at 'The House' to support the work of the Baptist Missionary Society during our harvest service. THIIRSTY is the BMS campaign we are supporting for our Harvest service this year. The project supports the provision of drinking water to the impoverished people of Haiti. We take clean water for granted in the UK but you'll be surprised at how much clean water really impacts society.

TINNED FOODS. In addition Harvest is a time when we bring tinned foods to church. These are donated to Pregnancy crisis units and charities who help refugees in our community
